Statement
The NY Employee Benefits Office is a sect of the NY Office of Labor Relations that conducts relations between the City of NY and the labor unions representing city employees, for all topics regarding benefits programs & eligibility.
Our corporate interiors team designed an office furniture layout consisting of an area with large cubicle workstations, one corner suite of executive office furniture, and several small meeting tables and chairs for interview rooms.
Using the O2™ Corporate Office Furniture System we fit eighteen 8’x6’ L-shaped cubicles with 53”H fabric cubicle walls, accented with cubicle windows along the aisles. Each station includes a 2-drawer pedestal file cabinet and a box box file pedestal .
Maple wood laminate table tops and wheat colored cubicle panels create a sense of warmth throughout the open office space. A row of 3-drawer metal filing cabinets provide shared filing and team work space at the end of each workstation cluster.
In the manager’s office, a simple yet distinguished Amber U-shaped desk sits nicely in the corner, surrounded by giant windows with classic views of the city. We custom fit the modular desk components around a large column in the rear corner. We finished the space with office storage cabinets and an office couch.
We kept things simple in the interview rooms, placing a small peninsula desk with filing drawers in the center of each room. A manager’s chair sits across from two visitor chairs – and that’s it! Simple.
This office furniture installation was for the client’s 17th floor – check out the 18th floor we did at the same time!
