Statement
Prune Danish is surprisingly not a bakery, but it is a company that came to fruition because of one. Two men became friends and colleagues as a result of their preference for the same tasty pastries, and great sales online was the fruit of their labor. They deliver freshly baked deals on accessories, electronics, health & beauty, home & garden, and more.
With plans for expansion, the client was seeking office furniture in Brooklyn for the front office space in their new warehouse located in the NYC borough. We met with them to discuss their vision for an office design concept and office furniture ideas.
The existing space had great features to work with like exposed brick walls, polished stone floors, and recessed pot lights. They were planning to dress up the space with posh details like modern hanging light fixtures and edgy accent walls with graphic patterns. They wanted modern office cubicles to reflect the same sharp office aesthetic.
We created a straight & simple cubicle floorplan to accommodate 12 employees in modestly sized 5x5 cubicles. Each station consists of a laminate woodgrain 5-foot desk surface and a 3-drawer wood file cabinet. We specified AIS Divi modular systems, which offers an option for laminate wood cubicle panels and a unique faux segmented appearance that really makes this system stand out. 42”H partitions stay true to the open office concept, and bronze smoked plexiglass screens on top helps give each employee an extra 8”H of face-level sneeze protection.
We’re grateful to have been a part of this project – it was a sweet treat!
