Statement
Knowland is a business development and solutions provider focused on the global hospitality industry. Its sales and marketing solutions are revolutionizing the way hotels and convention centers do business.
Our office design mission was to treat their executive headquarters with the sophistication of a corporate office interior within the constructs of the residential architecture of their Delaware office space. We immediately got to work on office design ideas to make their vision a reality.
We worked with the Global Evolve “frame & tile” cubicle system to make 8’x5’ open office workstations. We designed a 2-person workstation desk with divider panels and curved desktops that unite the open cubicles and create a natural office flow.
Upstairs in the executive space, a chic leather look sofa and two waiting room chairs provides sophisticated guest seating paired with a mahogany coffee table and matching end tables. With comfort and style defining this project, it really turned out to feel like a home away from the office…uhm, we mean home.
We kept all the business furniture part of an earth tones color palette for office applications. Rich wood look laminate desks pair with sandy fabric on cubicle walls and pebble grey trim paints – fitting elements for a cozy home office on the beach… or at least close to it.
